Robin Ruhnau

About

Since November 2022,  Robin has been the assistant professor of digital marketing (tenure track) at the WFI Ingolstadt School of Management of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany. Before his current position, he spent a total of around five years at the University of Mannheim as a PhD student (graduated in December 2020) and assistant professor under his doctoral supervisor, Christian Homburg. He studied business administration both in his bachelor's and his master's. 

He is a marketing strategy researcher with two main research foci. First, sales and customer relationship management. Regarding sales, for example, he investigates networks and networking, digital technologies (e.g., Virtual Reality), and recruiting and talent management. Regarding customer relationships, for example, he studies customer win-back management as well as customer experiences with new technologies. Second, the marketing-finance interface. In this regard, Robin is interested in how stock market participants react to marketing information. For example, he studies financial market communication (e.g., in conference calls) from a marketing perspective.
