Martin Kraemer

About

Martin Kraemer is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston. He specializes in effective strategies for motivating and leading sales teams and conducts research on the use of both monetary and non-monetary incentives to motivate sales personnel to effectively engage with customers and collaborate in creating value within complex sales contexts. Furthermore, he explores the impact of current trends on the sales profession and the associated competencies required. His work has been published in the International Journal of Research in Marketing, and he has won several awards, including the 2022 and 2023 Young Scholar Research Award from the Organizational Frontlines Interest Group, as well as the IMU Research for Practice Award for his dissertation. He holds a Doctorate in Marketing, as well as a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Management and Economics from the Ruhr-University of Bochum, Germany.
